Hi,

Is there anywhere on AeroSoft's store to leave feedback on SkyElite?

I did not see any place for that. You can contact them.

Can I ask if yours is a good feedback? 😀

Thank you!

A firm positive recommendation from a happy customer. :)

Very excited to see how you develop SkyElite over time.

Thank you for your nice feedback.

Of course is going to be grown and improved during next months, I have a lot of ideas and features in a TODO list.

If you want you can leave a comment on the Youtube video channel:

I developed SkyScout for X-Plane, the SkyElite's big brother, now I'm working on make SkyScout look nicer, similar to SkyElite:

Posted on YouTube.

Checked out your version for X-Plane.

I shifted away from X-Plane and P3D to concentrate on Flight Simulator but if I go back I suspect I will be buying the X-Plane version. 🙂

Hi,

I am very pleased with SkyElite, too. It's something I was missing, even more in view of the numer of glass-cockpit equipped planes in MSFS. I have a hardware panel with numerous knows and stuff which was only fit for steam gauges so far.

I still need a bit mechanical work on positioning screens and perhaps will find some ideas for improvements, but basically SkyElite is working just fine.

Kind regards, Michael

Yes, I'm aware of this and when I use it I have the same feelings. I wanted to release and receive feedback from customers before populating the software with functions that no one uses, and not focus in what really matters for users.

I preferred to release it and listen to users, then focus and implement only what users really need, and hopefully we will do this in the next updates after collecting some information from you all.

Thanks!

Just as a headup: I made an announcement on the official MSFS forum

MSFS forum

Maybe you want to keep an eye on it.

That was a great idea Micheael, thank you very much.

I will keep an eye on that forum.

Is there any restrictions you know in case I have to answer or post topics there?

Thanks again.

Of course you have to apply as a member and glance through the conditions. But I've seen several commercial developers answering questions on their products, so this seems to be within the terms.

Most important rule: NEVER argue with the mods on any of their decisions, this is strictly forbidden.🙂

Kind regards, Michael

After two initial good comments from you and other user, two bad ones came.

The first user... lets put it this way... did not write politely to me. But looks like he expect from me the opposite of what he does.

The second one.... maybe I'm wrong, probably. But when I write clearly in the manuals this:

"You can use the demo version several times with 10 minutes flight time limitation by re-installing the software before each try."

And on the bottom of the download page I have this:

demotime.png You have insufficient rights to see the content.

What else can I do?

Its a DEMO.. an evaluation... Its a simulator flight... I'm not crashing a real plane by stopping an engine in a demo... clicking "restart" takes a minute to have the plane in the air again... and the worst thing: I stated what the demo does in manuals and web site.

I don't think is a good idea to answer. No matter what I say they are going to fight, even if I politely explain my reasons for everything.

I replied. At least the last one seems to be the type just seeking for trouble.

Nonetheless, perhaps you can re-think the demo policy as this seems to be a source of trouble for several potential users.

I'm rethinking it, never my intention to bother anyone, but protecting the software.

Send you a PM now.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,

i have downloaded and licensed SkyElite from Aerosoft and everything worked fine. The demo was a littele hassle but no real problem. The licensed version is amongst the best i have seen so far on add-ons for the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I am using it now all the time and the functions are great and fully sufficient to operate a plane properly. I know what i say because i am a licensed pilot and fly the same Cessna and others is i did in real life. I have one important request though for the next upgrade (btw. this should be possible from inApp instead of searching on the website):

It would be great to have the ability to put the plane onto any position on the map in any desired altitude to cut short tiring long flights. This function is included in FS-FlightControl, which is a professional app running on the PC and iPad and enables a trainer to provide tasks to a student and monitor how he does. I have licensed both but SkyElite needs much less system ressources and the PFD is better. Please let me know if this function can be included in SkyElite. The it would be close to perfect.[/b]

Another question: any chance that SkyElite supports also P3D, DCS and IL-2 flight simulators???

Look forward to hear from you and by now SkyElite gets 4,5 from 5 stars from me. With the above replacement function it would move up to 5 from 5 stars.

Cheers Ronald

Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback, here you have my comments to your questions:

I have this feature in my other products for X-Plane, I did not researched about this in MSFS, but if is possible I will try to implement this in one of the next updates.
BTW: I use this a lot in X-Plane to practice landings without performing the whole flight.

Simple question with very difficult answers: P3D is over the table, but we still don't know if will be worth or not. Probably lot of P3D pilots will stay using the sim instead moving to MSFS.
But no lot of P3D users are willing to spend more money on it. So we are still thinking about it.

We don't know IL-2.
DCS SDK is very complex and the interface is not very documented. Basically require a huge amount of development in the simulator side. I know DCS users interested, but not sure if the
huge amount of development time will be worth.

So far we will focus in MSFS and X-Plane, and probably P3D is something we will evaluate, but not sure yet.

Thank you for choosing our products!
