Seems like each time I start and
use SE, the default CDI setting comes
up "Nav 1"...anyway to make this
default setting "GPS?"...and make it stay
GPS, until I change it?...

SkyElite shows the CDI selected in the aircraft when a flight is loaded, if the aircraft loads in NAV1 by default, then SkyElite will show NAV1.

Some planes can "store" the latest CDI used, but this is up to the plane, not SkyElite.
