Does not work. I read here similar issue due beta version, so I bought SkyElite. Same error.
When I open a flight in MSFS2020 and open SkyElite icon, then I can select browser, but all of them does not load Sky Elite. Connection refused message.
Then a window appears SkyElite Server not running! SkyElite will be closed.
My Windows Firewall is down.
Tryied using localhost and my ip.

So I cannot enter my serial number.
I tried uninstalling the demo and installing again from Aerosoft buying page link. Same error.

Hello,

Other than the windows media and the .net core framework we had not that many issues. We realized also about some antivirus deleting files in SkyElite folder so it wont work.

Lets go step by step: run SkyEliteServer.exe directly in the server folder, the best way is to open a command line window and go to that folder and execute it.

Not reported issues in the log show up in the SkyEliteServer command line window most of the times, then copy the error message and post it here or send to the support email, both are ok.

More steps after this test.

In the log file there are more entries after that one.

1. Do you have any antivirus? did you try to disable it temporary?

2. Did you tried to fully uninstall and reinstall again? Maybe in different folder not in program files?

Yes, I've tried to uninstall and install again, SkyElite, NET-Framework - Java and Windows Media (From windows add features)

I cannot copy the content of the cmd windows, because when I execute SkyEliteServer.exe in a cmd, it opens a new cmd windows for a second and then it's closed. Then I will send you via mail

To avoid cmd to close:

Open a new cmd window.
type: cd "C:\Program Files\SkyElite for MFS2020\Server" then intro
type: SkyEliteServer.exe then intro

Leave it running for some time, maybe latest error needs time to show up.
Then send me the full window contents (copy all text) to the support email.

The Flight Simulator SimConnect module is not working in your machine.

I found a customer email with similar problem and he fixed it by installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable,

This is supposed to be pre-installed by the Simulator and just one customer had this problem, but who knows.

Hello,

This is a new error and it shows: at SkyMediaPlayer.SkyPlayer.

SkyMediaPlayer only fails if Windows Media player is not installed.

Are you sure you installed it and if you did, it is the 64bit version of it?

Be aware that SkyElite does not work with 32bit OS or components.

Not sure how you installed it, but 100% sure this is the problem.
