Its been a long time without posting about SkyElite news or updates. SkyElite is stable enough as it is now and performance is good in average devices.

We wanted to release couple of updates long time ago, but we were waiting to see if MSFS SimConnect interface evolves and fixes some issues that are still there. Additionally the new G1000 NXi as default EFIS and the Working Title add-ons made some SkyElite functions not to work properly, although average functioning is good.

SimConect interface evolution since MSFS was released has been very poor. We can say that it still is in a beta status.

We've been in touch with Working Title but obviously, their priority is not to make their product compatible with external apps, like SkyElite.

Even with all the stones on the road, we decided to do as much as we can and to make a new update with some improvements we consider interesting. Of course all of the small bugs related to SimConnect deficiencies or to other plugins incompatibility will be still there, unless we can find a workaround that makes the trick.

There is no ETA for the new update yet. I want to advance that it will take some time until we release the new update, since there is still lot of work to do, but also wanted to let you all know that we are actively working on it and the project is, and will be, always alive.

All suggestions, comments and ideas are very welcome. Just think that stability and performance its very important so we will not be able to add everything that everyone wants.
